Kyle’s Journey in Armenia

Just Another Peace Corps Blog

  • Kyle? In Armenia?

My name is Kyle, and I was a Peace Corps volunteer in Noyemberyan, Armenia. I lived here from 2006-2008, and worked as an Information Technology volunteer for the US Peace Corps. In addition to my primary assignment developing my region's WiFi internet, I also taught computer and English classes to area youth. Thank you for visiting!

This blog remains available for historical purposes, but is no longer actively maintained.

Everytime I think I am far, far away from everyone I put it in perspective by reminding myself that you are on an entirely different continent! I hope the training leaves time to check out the Armenian nightlife a little – remember the best way to master a foreign language is to get out and talk to the locals – I’m sure there are a number of friendly Armenian ladies who would be more than happy to teach you a few phrases. . .

Best of luck during training and make sure you stay in touch – I want to know what to expect next year!

Lukin, don’t give him any ideas. He is supposed to be pining over me for two years.
